Haeven/Trust & safety

    Safety & boundaries

    In an emergency

If you, your baby, or someone in your household is in acute danger, call 112 immediately (or your local emergency number). For urgent non-emergency medical concerns, contact your midwife, GP, or kraamzorg.

    Hard fences

Whatever the rest of the conversation looks like, Haeven will always return a fixed safety message, and direct you outside the product, when a message indicates any of the following:

    • Self-harm or thoughts about ending your life.
    • Risk of harm to the baby.
    • Fever or signs of acute illness in a newborn.
    • Heavy or unexpected bleeding.
    • Questions about medication for parent or baby.

    What Haeven will never do

    • Give a diagnosis or recommend treatment.
    • Recommend, dose, or substitute medication.
    • Be used as a real-time monitoring tool.
    • Share what you write with an employer, insurer, or care provider without explicit consent.

    How we keep this honest

Every fixed safety response is recorded so the trigger can be audited later. The patterns themselves are versioned and tested before each pilot.
